Cultivating the garden of the mind, are thoughts sending tendrils of ideas into what we perceive as reality. Thoughts that create a world that is unique in the mind of the beholder. Ideas that by the very transformation create a belonging and a widening of the boundaries; suddenly we share a world. We – you and I - meet in the borderlands between fantasy and reality where perspectives change and ideas are born. Where new gardens are created, where pools of silence and contemplation may be found – but also where hints of the minds darker corners can be glimpsed, in the silent conflict that the need for light, air, water create within the limited space of a canvas.

Patterns, stylized flowers are competing with the abundance of nature. Mirroring the inherited conflict of my personal need for structure and predictions to feel safe - and how unsafe I perceive life. Direction lose meaning in the captured moment and unruliness of nature tries to overwhelm, and brings a flavor of chaos waiting beyond the frame.

Nature is not comfortable, neither is the human mind – but when our ideas and thoughts meet in the borderlands, we are all transformed. Welcome to bridge into my world, into my mind and into the unknown ideas we have not shared or cultivated yet.
